Human ß2-GP1 Ab IgA ELISA Kit

This quantitative immunoassay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro determination of human beta 2 Glycoprotein 1 IgA antibody in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The procedure is carried out on a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 × 8 well strips, with a colourimetric readout measured at 450 nm. The kit is reported as specific for beta 2 Glycoprotein 1 IgA antibodies, with no cross-reactivity to related analogs, and the total run time is approximately four hours.

According to the manufacturer the dynamic range is 0.313–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. Detection uses an enzyme-conjugated antibody and TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; colour intensity is directly proportional to the analyte concentration. Serum and plasma samples are recommended to be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing. Published undiluted recoveries average 93% for serum (range 86–101%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 88–101%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 86–100%), with dilution-linearity ranges supplied across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 sample dilutions.

The kit is shipped at +4 °C and components should be stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as directed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. A colourimetric microplate reader is required to record absorbance.
