Guinea Pig Ubiquitin ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of guinea pig Ubiquitin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a colorimetric microplate reader with absorbance read at 450 nm, and has a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Quantitative measurement is based on a pre-coated microplate format of 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated anti-Ubiquitin detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate visualised with a TMB substrate. The reported product range is 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.36 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported recovery in spiked samples (n=5) is 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–99%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
