Guinea pig PIIINP ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of guinea pig N-Terminal Procollagen III Propeptide/PIIINP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. It is a 4-hour colorimetric assay in which standards and samples are added to a pre-coated antibody plate; a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate are added sequentially, and the reaction is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm.

The assay is specific for N-Terminal Procollagen III Propeptide/PIIINP with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and shows reactivity with guinea pig samples. The standard curve covers 62.5–4000 pg/mL and the reported sensitivity is 37.5 pg/mL. Average recoveries (n=10) were 92% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma, and 92% in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was demonstrated for serum (88–103%, 82–95%, 83–100%), EDTA plasma (88–105%, 87–98%, 81–100%) and heparin plasma (85–102%, 85–99%, 80–94%) (n=10). The kit is shipped at +4°C with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the manual, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
