Guinea pig IgE ELISA Kit

Manufactured under the Antibodies.com brand, this assay is a 4-hour sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of guinea pig IgE. The kit is reported as specific for IgE with no cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids.

It uses a pre-coated microplate format with colorimetric detection measured at 450 nm. The standard assay range is 1.563–100 ng/mL, with a sensitivity below 0.938 ng/mL. Serum and plasma samples are recommended to be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing, with validated dilutions of 1:5–1:10 reported for healthy serum and plasma. Recovery has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and antibody dilution buffers, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, and plate sealers. The kit is shipped at +4°C and components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed in the protocol manual. Freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
