GRK1 (phospho Ser21) Cell Based ELISA Kit

The kit uses a colorimetric readout on a Tissue Culture Treated Microplate in an indirect ELISA format. GRK1 (phospho Ser21) is captured by Anti-GRK1 (phospho Ser21) Antibodies and then detected by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Because the readout is qualitative, three normalization approaches are provided: an Anti-GAPDH Antibody acts as an internal positive control; Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences; and an Anti-GRK1 Antibody is included so the absorbance of the non-phosphorylated target can be used to normalize the phosphorylated signal. The assay has a range of > 5000 Cells and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes, and is described as easy to follow and ready-to-use.
