Goat Immunoglobulin G ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of goat IgG in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for IgG with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Using a pre-coated microplate with capture antibody and a biotinylated detection antibody, the kit forms an antibody-antigen-antibody sandwich complex that is visualised with HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Detection is colorimetric, read at 450 nm. The standard curve covers a range of 1.563-100 ng/mL, with a sensitivity of <0.938 ng/mL, and the complete assay time is 4 hours.

Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer before testing, with validated dilutions of 1:1,000,000 for healthy serum and 1:1,000,000 for healthy plasma. Reported recovery values are: serum 93% average (range 86%-101%), EDTA plasma 93% (87%-100%), and heparin plasma 97% (85%-104%). The kit is shipped at +4°C and components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles and use past the expiration date should be avoided.
