Goat Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of goat Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with standards and samples added to wells bearing an immobilised antibody specific for GHRH. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-GHRH Antibody binds the captured analyte; an HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added and the reaction is visualised with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the concentration of GHRH calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 6.4 pg/ml with a measuring range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.
