Goat Fibrinogen ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of goat Fibrinogen in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilized antibody specific for Fibrinogen. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Fibrinogen binds to the capture antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody is then added, forming an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex, followed by HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate visualization, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL with a product range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. The kit is specific for Fibrinogen with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. The total assay time is 4 hours. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated sample dilutions include healthy serum (1:1,000,000) and healthy plasma (1:1,000,000). Reported recovery averages are 99% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma, and 91% for heparin plasma.
