General Vitamin K1 ELISA Kit

An ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Vitamin K1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), where Vitamin K1 in samples or standards competes with immobilised antigen for binding sites on a biotinylated anti-Vitamin K1 antibody. Detection relies on an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader; the resulting signal is inversely proportional to the Vitamin K1 concentration.

The kit has a sensitivity of 22.47 pg/ml and a product range of 62.5-4000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 2h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported range values across sample types (n=5) were 80%-102% for Serum, 81%-100% for EDTA Plasma, and 80%-89% for Heparin Plasma, with corresponding averages of 91%, 90%, and 84%.
