General Thromboxane B2 ELISA Kit

The pre-coated 96-well microplate is arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

Assay sensitivity is reported as <7.13 pg/ml, with a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a total run time of 2h 30m. Mean recovery is 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is documented across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Detection relies on an HRP-Avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; colour intensity is inversely proportional to the amount of Thromboxane B2 present.
