General Noradrenaline ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this competitive ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of noradrenaline in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique with a biotinylated anti-noradrenaline antibody, HRP-Avidin detection and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

The kit has a stated standard range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <27.2 pg/ml. Total assay time is 2h 30m. Detection is colorimetric, read on a microplate reader, and reactivity is reported as universal. Reported spike-and-recovery averages are serum 91% (range 80%–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma 90% (range 81%–99%, n=5) and heparin plasma 84% (range 80%–89%, n=5), with dilution linearity reported across 1:2 to 1:16 for the same sample types.
