General Gibberellic Acid ELISA Kit

A competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of Gibberellic Acid in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate with colourimetric detection read at 450 nm using a microplate reader, with a reported run time of 2 hours 30 minutes.

The kit uses a competitive enzyme immunoassay principle in which Gibberellic Acid present in samples or standards competes with antigen pre-coated on the plate for binding to a biotinylated anti-Gibberellic Acid antibody; an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are then used to generate a signal that is inversely proportional to the Gibberellic Acid concentration in the well. The measuring range is 156-10000 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 66 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported recovery values across n=5 samples were 80-102% in serum (mean 91%), 81-99% in EDTA plasma (mean 90%), and 80-89% in heparin plasma (mean 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions has been demonstrated at 74-107% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
