General Adenosine Diphosphate ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this assay kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Adenosine Diphosphate using a competitive ELISA format. It is intended for measuring Adenosine Diphosphate in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids, with universal reactivity.

The kit employs a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate. During incubation, Adenosine Diphosphate in samples competes with immobilized antigen for binding to a biotinylated anti-Adenosine Diphosphate antibody. Detection uses an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a colour change read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. Total assay time is 2h 30m.

Sensitivity is <0.101 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Average recovery was 91% in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5), and 84% in Heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5). Dilutional linearity in serum (n=5) ranged from 74% to 107% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
