General 1,5-Anhydroglucitol ELISA Kit

This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of 1,5-Anhydroglucitol in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It is intended for universal reactivity, with an assay range of 1.56-100 µg/ml and a sensitivity of <0.52 µg/ml.

The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with 1,5-Anhydroglucitol antigen. During incubation, analyte present in samples or standards competes with the immobilised antigen for binding sites on a Biotinylated Anti-1,5-Anhydroglucitol Antibody. After washing to remove unbound antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate is added and incubated. TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow is inversely proportional to analyte concentration, which is calculated from the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm against a standard curve. Total assay time is approximately 2h 30m.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. Recovery performance has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across multiple dilution factors.
