GelPilot DNA Loading Dye,5x (6 x 500µl)

QIAGEN's GelPilot DNA Loading Dye is a 5x gel-loading buffer designed for the analysis of DNA samples by electrophoresis, offering safe and convenient loading and tracking of samples on agarose gels. The buffer contains three marker dyes — bromophenol blue, xylene cyanol, and orange G — for reliable estimation of DNA migration distance and subsequent optimization of gel run time.

The manufacturer publishes a reference table of approximate migration distances corresponding to each of the three dyes across agarose gel percentages from 0.8% to 2.5% in both TAE and TBE buffer systems, allowing users to estimate band positions during electrophoresis.

To preserve product performance, frequent thawing and freezing of the loading dye should be avoided. Users are advised to open only one aliquot at a time and avoid repeatedly thawing and refreezing the entire package.
