Equine Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of horse TGF beta 1 in serum, platelet-poor plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with TGF beta 1 in standards and samples captured by an immobilised specific antibody.

Captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-TGF beta 1 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal developed via TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The standard curve spans 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <6.3 pg/ml, and the full assay takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
