Equine Myeloperoxidase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Myeloperoxidase in horse (equine) serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Myeloperoxidase is pre-coated onto the wells of a 96-well microplate, and the assay uses a biotinylated anti-Myeloperoxidase detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader, with an assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The stated sensitivity is <1.36 ng/ml and the assay range is 3.12–200 ng/ml.

Reported recovery data from the manufacturer include serum (average 91%, range 80%–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81%–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80%–89%, n=5), with dilution linearity data reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
