Equine Matrix Metalloproteinase 9 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of horse Matrix Metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotinylated anti-MMP9 detection antibody followed by HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is reported as <6.7 pg/ml, with an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. Reported recovery ranges are 80-102% for serum (n=5, average 91%), 81-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%), and 80-89% for heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91% for heparin plasma. Components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, to be stored between +4°C and -20°C as instructed.
