Equine Matrix Metalloproteinase 7 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of equine Matrix Metalloproteinase 7 (MMP7) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated anti-MMP7 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, producing a colourmetric signal that is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and quantified against a standard curve.

Quantitative performance specifications include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.153 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Spike-and-recovery has been characterised in serum (80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%, n=5), with linearity assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each sample matrix.
