Equine Interleukin 13 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of equine Interleukin 13 (IL-13) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged in a 12 x 8 well strip format, with biotinylated anti-IL-13 antibody and HRP-avidin detection visualised via TMB substrate, read colorimetrically at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

The standard measuring range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of <6.6 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values (n=5) include 91% for serum (range 83–100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90–103%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89–102%), with linearity data provided for serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 across the same sample types.

Kit components should be stored between +4°C and –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
