Equine Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of equine (horse) Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-1RA, a biotinylated anti-IL-1RA detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal visualised using TMB substrate. Optical density is read at 450 nm in a colourimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer-reported performance includes a sensitivity of <0.66 pg/ml, an assay range of 1.56-100 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery across five replicates is 80-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity is also reported across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions.
