Equine Interferon Gamma ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of horse Interferon gamma in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microtiter plate with an antibody specific for Interferon gamma. Standards and test samples are added and the captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Interferon gamma Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm and concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

Quantitative performance includes a measuring range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.1 pg/ml. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80%-89% (average 84%) for Heparin plasma (n=5). The kit is read on a Colorimetric Microplate Reader with an assay time of 4h 30m. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
