Equine Angiogenin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Angiogenin ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Angiogenin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids from horse samples.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) immobilised with an antibody specific for Angiogenin. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Angiogenin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After incubation and washing, a TMB substrate solution is added; the resulting blue product changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and Angiogenin concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The stated sensitivity is <6.9 ng/ml and the assay range is 15.6-1000 ng/ml. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
