Chicken Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative in vitro measurement of chicken Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A (VEGFA) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit reports an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.4 pg/ml. Spiked recovery across five replicates averaged 91% (80%–102%) in serum, 90% (81%–100%) in EDTA plasma and 84% (80%–89%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 returned 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized VEGFA standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated on the individual vials.
