Chicken Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com as part of the Assays and Kits category, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinase 3 (TIMP3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and detection is colorimetric with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.076 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum gave an average of 95% across a range of 89%–101%, in EDTA plasma an average of 96% across 91%–101%, and in heparin plasma an average of 96% across 91%–101%. Linearity-of-dilution data are reported for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Supplied components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), detection solution A (120 µl), detection solution B (120 µl), 30X wash buffer (20 ml), sample dilution buffer (45 ml), TMB substrate (9 ml), stop solution (6 ml) and plate sealers (5 adhesive strips), with kit components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
