Chicken Osteocalcin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Osteocalcin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Osteocalcin detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 1.56–100 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <0.67 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been evaluated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%; n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–99%, average 90%; n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%; n=5), with linearity assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
