Chicken Nuclear Factor Kappa B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken NFkB p105 / p50 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, with a biotinylated anti-NFkB p105 / p50 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and the colourmetric signal is measured as absorbance at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is specified with a sensitivity of 0.064 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with the full assay completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery is 93% in serum (range 87–100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (89–99%) and 94% in heparin plasma (90–98%) across n=5 samples. Linearity has been demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, a 30× wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
