Chicken Interleukin 8 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken interleukin-8 (IL-8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-8 (12 x 8 well strips), and follows a standard sandwich immunoassay workflow with a biotinylated anti-IL-8 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance includes a product range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.7 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5), and linearity has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across these sample types. Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures varying between +4°C and -20°C as instructed.
