Chicken Interleukin 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Interleukin 4 (IL-4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip configuration, with a biotinylated anti-IL-4 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised by TMB substrate.

The quantitative assay has a product range of 7.81-500 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <2.7 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colourimetric, read at 450 nm absorbance, with IL-4 concentration calculated against a standard curve. Reported average recovery is 91% for serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5).
