Chicken Interleukin 12A ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken IL12A. It is reactive with chicken samples and is intended for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The Chicken IL12A ELISA Kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, where standards and samples are captured by an immobilized antibody specific for IL12A. Detection uses a Biotinylated Anti-IL12A Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, with visualisation via TMB substrate that produces a yellow colour proportional to IL12A concentration. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a quantitative range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <7.2 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported average recovery is 91% for serum (n=5, range 83-100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90-103%), and 94% for Heparin plasma (n=5, range 90-99%). Dilution linearity has been characterised across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and Heparin plasma samples.
