From Antibodies.com, this Chicken IL-10 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken interleukin-10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate that is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with sample concentrations calculated by reference to a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a sensitivity of 32 pg/ml and a product range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spiking recovery values are 83–100% (average 91%, n=5) in serum, 90–103% (average 96%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 89–102% (average 95%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity is documented at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each of these sample types.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer and plate sealers.
