Chicken Interleukin 1 Beta ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Interleukin 1 Beta (IL-1 beta) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include a measuring range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5.7 pg/ml. In spiked recovery testing across five replicates, average recovery was 91% in serum (range 83-100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90-103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89-102%). Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum values of 79-110%, EDTA plasma of 73-109% and heparin plasma of 77-110%.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
