Chicken Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 2 (IGFBP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate to which an antibody specific for IGFBP2 has been immobilised; standards and test samples are added, captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-IGFBP2 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate to produce a yellow colour read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated from a standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <7.5 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery has been characterised in serum (80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81-101%, average 91%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%, n=5), and linearity-of-dilution data are provided for each matrix at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
