Chicken Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an IGF1-specific capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-IGF1 detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate visualised with TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm and quantified against a standard curve.

The kit has a stated assay range of 18.7–1200 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <7.4 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Validated sample recovery across n=5 replicates is reported as 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions across all three matrices.
