Chicken Heat Shock Protein Beta 2 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a sandwich ELISA (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken HSPB2 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses an antibody specific for HSPB2 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, and is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader measuring absorbance at 450 nm.

In the assay workflow, standards and test samples are added to the wells where HSPB2 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-HSPB2 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualize the reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution; the absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to HSPB2 concentration and is read against the standard curve.

The assay has a stated range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Validation data supplied with the kit covers recovery and dilution linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
