Chicken Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 (FGF9/GAF) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a biotinylated anti-FGF9/GAF detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, yielding a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and concentration calculated from a standard curve. The quantitative assay range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 35 pg/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4h 30m.

Reported spike recovery values (n=5) are serum 80-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81-100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Components supplied include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, with items stored at either +4°C or -20°C as indicated. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
