Chicken Fibroblast Growth Factor 1, Acidic ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Fibroblast Growth Factor 1, Acidic (FGF1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for FGF1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-FGF1 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit has a stated assay range of 46.8-3000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <21.54 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, with storage conditions specified between +4°C and -20°C depending on the component.

Spike-and-recovery values are reported across 5 replicates for serum (80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity is also reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for the same three sample types.
