Chicken cTnI ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Cardiac Troponin I in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for Cardiac Troponin I pre-coated onto a microtitre plate; standards and test samples are added so that the target analyte binds to the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Cardiac Troponin I Detection Antibody is added and binds the captured analyte, followed by an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate. A TMB substrate visualises the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The concentration of Cardiac Troponin I is calculated from the optical density at 450 nm against the standard curve.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 9.375 pg/ml and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/ml. It is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. The unopened kit should be stored at +4 °C and must not be used past its expiration date.

Supplied components include a pre-coated microtitre plate, two vials of lyophilised standard, sample dilution buffer, a 100× biotinylated detection antibody with its antibody dilution buffer, a 100× HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC) with SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25× wash buffer concentrate, and adhesive plate sealers in a foil pouch.
