Chicken Connective Tissue Growth Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microtiter plate, a biotinylated anti-CTGF detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <7.3 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation testing with serum (n=5) gave an average value of 91% across a range of 80%–102%; EDTA plasma (n=5) averaged 90% (range 81%–100%); and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 84% (range 80%–89%).
