Chicken Cholecystokinin A Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken cholecystokinin A receptor (CCK1-R) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for CCK1-R; standards and samples are added and the target is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-CCK1-R Antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of CCK1-R captured in each well. Concentration is calculated by reading the absorbance at 450 nm against the standard curve.

The quantitative assay has a reported product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.179 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated 96-well microplate platform arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.
