Chicken Bone Morphogenetic Protein 4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Bone Morphogenetic Protein 4 (BMP4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Results are read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

The reported sensitivity is <12.6 pg/ml and the assay range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5 per matrix) showed average recoveries of 95% in serum (range 89%–101%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 91%–101%) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 91%–101%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of BMP4 in chicken samples.
