Chicken Adiponectin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of chicken Adiponectin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. It targets Adiponectin and is reactive with chicken samples, using a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Adiponectin detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate to generate a colorimetric signal.

The manufacturer reports an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.292 ng/ml. The assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported recovery values (n=5) are 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Sample dilution linearity is also reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for these same sample types.
