Supplied by Antibodies.com, this ready-to-use hapten conjugate is designed for the detection of Cannabinoid (THC) residues in immunoassay development workflows. The antigen is presented as a liquid Antigen-HRP conjugate, with the THC hapten covalently linked to Horseradish Peroxidase so it can serve directly as a competing analyte in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. The 1 mL format is intended for laboratories setting up competitive ELISA plates for the qualitative or semi-quantitative screening of THC and related cannabinoids in research samples. The conjugate is shipped cold on cold packs and should be stored at 2–8 °C; it must not be frozen, as freeze-thaw cycles can denature the HRP enzyme and reduce assay performance. The product is for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic, therapeutic, or in vivo applications. As with other small-molecule HRP conjugates in the Antibodies.com antigen range, this reagent is typically supplied in a buffered matrix (commonly 0.1 M Tris-HCl or phosphate buffer, pH ~7.0, with protein stabilizers such as FBS and a preservative such as thimerosal) to preserve enzymatic activity and shelf stability. It is well matched with anti-THC polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, including sheep polyclonal anti-cannabinoid reagents, for use in competitive ELISA, lateral flow, and dot-blot test formats commonly employed in drugs-of-abuse testing research.
