Canine Tumor Necrosis Factor Beta ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Tumor Necrosis Factor Beta (referred to by the manufacturer as LTA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for LTA, a biotinylated anti-LTA detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the standard curve range is 15.6–1000 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <3.6 ng/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery data (n=5) show average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%).
