Canine Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinase 1 (TIMP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for TIMP1, followed by incubation with Biotinylated Anti-TIMP1 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is via a TMB substrate solution read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Sensitivity is reported as 0.066 ng/ml with a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported recovery ranges across undiluted samples are 80-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma.
