Canine Surfactant Associated Protein A ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Surfactant Protein A/PSAP in serum, plasma, lung lavage fluid, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with antibody specific for the target; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-Surfactant Protein A/PSAP detection antibody and HRP-avidin. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the standard curve covering 1.87–120 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.62 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery averages 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (81–99%) in EDTA plasma, and 84% (80–89%) in heparin plasma (n=5 each). The kit contains a pre-coated 96-well plate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
