Canine Selectin, Endothelium ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine CD62E (also known as Selectin, Endothelium) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format: standards and samples are added to wells where the target is captured by an immobilised antibody, then detected with a biotinylated anti-CD62E antibody, HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer's specification, the assay has a sensitivity of <2.38 ng/ml and a working range of 6.25–400 ng/ml. Reported mean recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5 each), with dilution linearity data provided for 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions across the same three sample types. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The assay is suitable for serum, plasma and tissue homogenates.
