Canine Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 (MCP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. It uses a canine-reactive colourimetric format on a pre-coated microplate.

An antibody specific for MCP2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-MCP2 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. After addition of an acidic stop solution the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <9.7 pg/ml and assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Recovery has been validated in serum (n=5; range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5; range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5; range 80%-89%, average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
