Canine Interleukin 13 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative in vitro determination of canine Interleukin 13 (IL-13) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for IL-13, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-IL-13 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal developed using a TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer-reported specifications include a working range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5.5 pg/ml. The pre-coated plate is supplied as 12 x 8 well strips and total assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery data (n=5) are: serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%).
