Canine Interleukin 10 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com's Assays and Kits range, this Sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Interleukin 10 (IL-10) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows the sandwich enzyme immunoassay format, with a biotinylated anti-IL-10 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change that becomes yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with yellow intensity proportional to IL-10 concentration.

The kit provides a standard range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.5 pg/ml, and the full assay is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery across sample matrices supports reliable quantification: serum (n=5) 80%-102% with an average of 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%-100% with an average of 90%; heparin plasma (n=5) 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% respectively.
